2018 North American Goldman Environmental Prize winner LeeAnne Walters led a citizens’ movement that tested the tap water in Flint, MI and exposed the Flint water crisis. Join Ms. Walters, Goldman Environmental Prize staff Lorrae Rominger, Deputy Director, and Ryan Mack, North American Program Officer, to celebrate how one person can make a monumental difference in their community. Each year, six prizes are awarded and profiled in a series of films called The New Environmentalists; filmmaker Will Parrinello will be present to share his perspective on telling an effective story through film and how these individuals have inspired his work.
